ENGINEERING Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. is the head company of the ENGINEERING Group. Role in project

As a large European Integrator that offers wide portfolio of enterprise ICT applications and cloud-based services in the domains of Smart Energy Grids, ENGINEERING role in the IoT-NGIN project would be related to IoT services and Cybersecurity. In further detail, ENGINEERING will provide significant insight in the requirements analysis and use case refinement, the specification of the IoT meta-architecture components, and alignment with the next technological generation. Additionally, ENGINEERING will facilitate connectivity among users and things in novel AR techniques. Additionally, facilitate connectivity among users and things will facilitate the enhancement of IoT cybersecurity and data privacy, and specifically will develop federated privacy preserving frameworks. ENGINEERING will also contribute to the development and the IoT-NGIN integration, providing the application logic for the variant use cases, and the laboratory testing and evaluation. Towards this direction, ENGINEERING will contribute to the smart grid use case adaptation, along with the validations of the variant use cases results. Finally, ENGINEERING will participate in the impact creation and outreach activities by contributing in exploitation and dissemination procedures.
