IoT-NGIN welcomed the Ethics Advisory Board (EAB) panel for a second meeting about the legal and ethical aspects of the project. The second EAB meeting took place on 22nd May 2023. During this meeting, the project scope and progress has been presented by the coordinators, while legal and ethical activities have been presented by our partner Privanova, to the board of the three ethics experts. IoT-NGIN had the chance to discuss about ethical challenges faced in the project, data anonymization and compliance to FAIR data principles during data sharing.
IoT-NGIN keeps being committed PRESS (Privacy, data pRotection, Ethics, Security & Societal acceptance) and confidentiality compliance and duly considers the EAB members’ comments in data management and sharing during the project lifetime.
