The IoT Week 2021 conference welcome industry leaders, lead researchers and public service representatives not only from Europe but from around the world to share their views on how the technology can serve society better and identify what are the technological and societal challenges today.
IoT-NGIN has been present in IoT Week 2021 sessions, providing insights derived from the novel research conducted in the project so far, but also providing information about our 1st Open Call. Specifically, IoT-NGIN has participated in the following sessions:
- Presentations of Open Calls workshop, 30th August 2021: Our Project Coordinator Dr Ghasan Bhatti, CapGemini, our Technical Manager Dr Artemis Voulkidis, Synelixis, and Mr Dimitrios Skias, Intrasoft, provided information to innovative SMEs about the funding opportunities for their IoT-related work by joining our Consortium via our 1st Open Call
- Training Session on Machine Learning at the Edge and the FarEdge, 30th August 2021: Our Technical Manager Dr Artemis Voulkidis, Synelixis, provided insights on Federated Machine Learning (FML) and FML Cybersecurity.
- Edge Intelligence and Industrial Internet of Things, 1st September 2021: Dr Terpsi Velivassaki, Synelixis, presented Edge Intelligence as a Service (EIaaS) via the IoT-NGIN paradigm.
