On 27th May 2021, Ilkka Lakaniemi, Director of the Center for Knowledge and Innovation Research (CKIR), Aalto University School of Business, spoke on data priorities and GAIA-X, addressing how Europe can fit for the Digital Age via excellence and trust in Artificial Intelligence and Marketplaces, during the virtual event “AI Marketplace meets FIWARE”, within the FIWARE AI DAY.
The event was focused on how open source-based AI marketplaces can unlock benefits for AI offerings, especially in the product development space. It provided insights into how to bridge the gap between product creation and AI and tap into the huge potential that is being realized through an innovative marketplace based on FIWARE technology.
Specifically, the use cases, federated data spaces and EU Next Generation agenda for IoT and AI discussed in this event are of great interest to IoT-NGIN.
