IoT-NGIN launched at 15 and 16 October 2020 with a successful kick-off meeting. Through this two-day virtual meeting, the partners gathered to set the roadmap for the delivery of IoT-NGIN over the next three years. 

IoT-NGIN (Next Generation IoT as part of Next Generation Internet) is a consortium of 19 partners from 8 countries across Europe (France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, Luxemburg, Finland and Cyprus), led by Capgemini in France. The project aims to address the heterogeneity and advancements of the Internet of Things, acting as the “IoT Engine” which will fuel the Next Generation of IoT as a part of the European Next Generation Internet. IoT- NGIN partners are committed towards enhancing IoT communications, federated ML, ambient intelligence, as well as cybersecurity and privacy for the Next Generation IoT.
